It is an insurance policy that supports you with a cash payout if, God forbid, you fall ill or suffer an injury and need to be admitted to the hospital.
What does "Hospital Admission" mean?
It means staying in the hospital for 48 hours or more. Once you exceed this period, the insurance pays out your compensation.
How does Income Protection Insurance work?
When you are admitted to the hospital, your work and daily income can naturally be affected. This is where the insurance steps in to pay you a lump-sum cash amount to help cover your living expenses and financial commitments. The exact payout amount is calculated based on the coverage level you chose at the time of purchase.

What coverage options are available?
We offer 3 plans for you to choose from:
Basic Coverage: SAR 500 monthly payout.
Silver Coverage: SAR 1,000 monthly payout.
Gold Coverage: SAR 2,500 monthly payout.
How do I choose the right plan for me?
Based on your budget and personal needs, see which monthly payout amount suits you best, and select your plan accordingly (Basic, Silver, or Gold).
Is Income Protection Insurance a monthly subscription?
No, it is not a monthly subscription. You purchase the policy for a fixed term of 3, 6, or 12 months, depending on the plan you choose.
Who can apply for Income Protection Insurance?
Anyone aged between 18 and 65 years who holds a valid Saudi National ID or Iqama can apply.
Note: Coverage automatically ends once you reach the age of 65.
What is excluded from Income Protection Insurance coverage?
Certain conditions and cases are excluded from coverage, such as: pre-existing medical conditions, hospital admissions during the waiting period, pregnancy and childbirth (unless it is an emergency admission due to an injury), hazardous activities, and other specific exclusions detailed in the policy document.
Does the insurance cover pre-existing conditions?
No, medical conditions and illnesses that existed prior to purchase are excluded from coverage according to the policy terms and conditions.
Can I cancel the Income Protection Insurance policy?
Yes, you can cancel your policy and receive a full refund, provided it is within the first 15 days of purchase and no claims have been submitted.
How can I purchase an Income Protection Insurance policy?
You can easily purchase it through tree app or website just choose the plan that suits you and complete the remaining details.
Does the policy cover outpatient clinic visits?
No, coverage applies only to hospital admission and inpatient stay costs; it does not include outpatient clinics or consultations.
Does the insurance cover hospitalization costs due to an accident?
No, the policy does not cover hospitalization resulting from accidents, according to the policy terms and conditions.
Does the insurance cover pregnancy?
No, the policy does not provide any benefits for hospitalization related to pregnancy or childbirth.
Can I transfer my policy to another person?
No, the policy is issued specifically in your name as the insured person and cannot be transferred to anyone else
Claims, cancellations and renewals
How long is the waiting period for the Income Protection Insurance policy?
The waiting period begins 30 days after the policy start date. During the first 30 days, illness-related claims are not covered, and actual coverage for eligible cases begins once this period ends
How can I renew my Income Protection Insurance policy?
You can renew it through tree app or website by navigating to your active policy and completing the renewal steps before it expires.
What documents are required to submit a claim?
You will need to prepare documents such as: hospital reports, medical reports, discharge summaries, and any additional paperwork requested during the claim submission process.
How can I submit a claim?
After being discharged from the hospital, log in to your account on the Tree app or website, select your Income Protection policy, and follow the simple digital steps to submit your claim.
When will I receive the claim payout?
The amount will be transferred after we review and approve the claim, and once all required documents are complete, in accordance with the policy terms.
Can I submit a claim for more than one hospital admission?
Yes, you can submit claims for eligible hospital admissions, provided you do not exceed the maximum claim limit allowed under your policy.

Can I cancel my policy at any time?
Yes, you can cancel your policy at any time. Refund eligibility depends on the timing; please note that no refund will be issued if you have a paid claim or a claim currently under processing.
